My home is where

For the exhibition Something Called Home in King Street Studios in Lancaster, I produced a series of notebooks with illustrations "my home is where ...". The illustrations are based on my own feelings and also on thoughts of my friends, my family. Before starting of the work, I made a quiz “What does feeling of home mean for you?” The notebook can be used for decorating a shelf and also for keeping notes.

In addition to exhibitions in Liverpool and Knowsley, my book took part in exhibitions in Bower Ashton Library (Bristol) and in Asheville Bookworks gallery (North Carolina, USA)

Frankenstein

The cover of my book about Frankenstein is a human figure packed in a rectangle and tied with ropes. He is similar to a child in a twisted pose, who lies in the womb of the mother. And we do not know who will be born, we just hope that this child will be smart and kind. But when we untie this figure, we start seeing the image of a huge and dumb monster. Mary Shelley merely conveys the impression that Victor builds the monster with any materials available around him.I used the same principle.
